it has been in the past...if you have to take a car from one point to the other, like emissions, which is what i used to tell them. But since emissions is closed on Sunday, that might be tough. _________________

Free is only for emissions inspection. No dice on Sunday. Probably gonna have to pay.

Who knows? Maybe?
Need to get this damned Monterey running first so I can put the piece of crap Chevy back in the shop so it can look ugly and be in my way and some more. |

Just how many engines does a Monterey need per year? |

Fourth engine in this car since December of 1962. That comes out to 0.083 engines per year. |

Don't know why the first one was even replaced. Could have been a runner for all I know. Was done by a previous owner. The next owner sure blew it up though. Then the 390 I put in it split the block somewhere in one of the high-pressure oil lines through the casting. Common problem on these motors, apparently. And now we're on #4. |

Make that 3, I'm going to try and be there early too. I'll be sorting the V6, the 383 isn't ready for highway drives yet. _________________ 92 Camaro

3rd gens are becoming the new "classics" and at least the early 4th gens are becoming the new ghetto-rigs. I see alot of those being driven around with busted up front ends. _________________
