The yearbook class wanted some pictures of the "hotrods" at school ripping it up.

This was the morning of the day I crashed my car Very Happy

But here are some cool pics of my car, cause I know most of you havent seen it with since the pretty rattle can job, and some of you havent seen it in general.

Me doing some donuts.

Me teaching my buddy how to burn out in a 5 speed, he is the one standing next to the car. I am inside it...Poor guy needs posi Very Happy

And here are a couple of him doing donuts or something in reverse, it is an 83 Firebird S/E

Sorry the picture quality and sizes are wierd, my scanner is really old, and I really screwed up the resizing process. Oh well.

Hope you enjoy.

lol @ kelly

Nice car. What is the status of it now? Is it fixed?

If your buddy needs people to teach him how to do Rockford's there are several crewbies that would readily volunteer Wink

Birdy burnout in reverse? Tisk tisk

I have all the components to fix it (thanks to Cheezx), but I am more concerned with power then appearance. I the tranny is disconnected, and I am just waiting for some help from my buddies to drop it completely, and hopefully I will have the engine out next weekend, after that I just need to find a deal on a t56 and a 350 (or 355, or 383stroker)

And the reverse burnouts... that is the only way he could get the wheels to smoke (untill I showed him how Very Happy )

Why do cars peel out better in reverse though?

Ah, just curious. My brother's a senior there too. Do you own one of the third gens that are in the same spot (near the tennis courts in the back of the parking lot) that park there every day? I see them a lot when I drop my brother off at Jackson.

steeper gear ratio, and suspension unloads the rear when going in revers, the weight transfer is to the front, instead of the rear.

I used to have one there, before I tucked it away in the garage for some work. I am pretty good friends with the two other guys, Dustin drives the grey firebird, and Marcin drives the red firebird s/e that is also pictured above.

Who is your brother, maybe I know him.

My brother's Derek Mondares. He's only been there since his Junior year, so I don't think he knows everybody, per se.
