This is add is strange. I have never heard of most of the after market parts mentioned in the ad.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/2377647388.html

Eihter way, the price is right if the car is as clean as it appears in the crappy pics.

looks like a LT1 intake to me?

The "S1P" should be SLP for the air intake.

Rails are too low. Looks like a Stealth Ram.

He deciphered the SLP logo as "S1P" on the airbox, but "51P" on the header tubes? Laughing

Either way you'd need to see slips for work done and parts bought 'cause that guy doesn't know his a** from a hole in the ground.

Could also be something somebody got in a divorce.

The line "we love this car" is a pretty good clue that whoever wrote the ad was only riding in the passenger seat. Laughing

No no no... L98 was 2-bolt main IIRC. They're wrong about one or the other.

Doesnt matter, if the car was as clean as the crappy pics suggested and it had a HSR, rebuilt 350, gears etc it was worth 3 - 5K. I wouldnt have posted this up if I didnt think it was a good deal. There are alot of beaters out there with a similar asking price.

Trust me, the only time numbers matching means a thing is if it was a low mileage car. Especially with 3rd gens. They were dogs from the factory when new and dont hold a candle to an economy vehicle produced in the mid 90's let alone today.

Dont think so? Take your stock ride to the track on an import night and watch Accords each your lunch. Some 3rd gens were quick in there day, but not many. Today, a stock 305 TPI gets smoked by something your mom dailey drives.

It costs money to get our cars respectable. They are not stock.

Go find a clean original 1978 Z28 and a modified 1978 Z28.

Our modified cars will never be worth what a clean stock one will be worth in a few years if the economy ever turns around. I'm not talking less than 5000 mile showroom condition cars either, say under 75000 miles, but all original.
