For sale is my '86 T/A that i put A LOT of money into. I hate to see her go but after buying the LS1 and putting the T/A as a project car that i wont be able to start for a couple years and parents want to charge me to keep the car at home i need to sell it. I'll probably wind up buying a shell of a '86 t/a in a couple years for the major project i was going to do to this one. Here's whats been done:
-Engine-Blueprinted rebuilt 350 TPI with 268* Comp cam, 180* thermostat (still under warenty- 7yr 70kmile and only has about 8k now)
-Computer- Custom chip done by performance shop
-Rearend- replaced 9bolt 2.77 w/ 10bolt 3.73 w/ eaton posi
-Paint- Repainted same color after someone hit it
-Custom CAI (still have stock airbox if needed)
-Exhaust (magnaflow muffler, high flow cat.)
The rest of the drivetrain has a little over 100k but the only problem i have now is the minor exhaust leak wich a shop told me is just noise and maybe decreasing city milage slightly. The car also has the WS6 performance package, t-tops, air conditioning (needs to be recharged?), power everything but seats, grey cloth interior, leather wrapped stearing wheel, 140MPH speedo 16x8 GTA style wheels, 10disc cd changer....Any other questions PM me. Ill try and post pics soon.
I would like to get about $3500 out of it but if your wondering i am negotiable. _________________ Project_1986_TA

my bad. I couldn't resist the almighty LS1 6spd. Naw, i just cant deal with what i want to do to the t/a for a couple years and even then all i really need is a good shell. So i figure since its just sitting i should give it a better home. |

You will regret selling this thing. There I have been a few times I have thought about selling mine, but everytime I do, I remeber all the great times I have with it, and just can't bring myself to sell her. |
