in the $1,500 to $2,500 price range. Anyone know of anything decent in the area? (Yes, I know what you can get in that range is limited, lol.)

What kind of car is your friend looking for. I have access to an '87 Z24 Cavalier that runs and drives like a dream in the low end price range of what you listed.
