Hey rich, any special requirements? And how's the insurance? For a long term solution I think SP plates are the way to go. Till then I will just get temps.

Yup yup

I don't really see why he can't get a signal though. It's just a two-wire hall effect sitting up on top of the pump's timing gear. Hell, on the Furd you can unplug the damn thing and it's a dual-spade connector right off the motor. Laughing

A couple years ago I asked him when I had my Furd up there and he didn't have the equipment to dyno it and seemed pretty happy about it. Maybe with the economy and popularity of diesels in the last few years he may have got the equipment. Aaron, I don't think that 6.9 will even turn the rollers. Laughing You need a turbo.

We took the time off, but due to recent events said f*ck it, maybe next year.

That's a crock of s*** and you know it. Just have the ducks watch the kid for the weekend, tie the Chevy to the Ford, and head on up. Wink

Cool car! You should post up in the general section, and give us some pictures and a run down of what all you have done to it.

I've seen you post on other boards. I think LSXnation or LS1tech. And yes, there may be one or two with LSx cars. Very Happy

No one that posts on this board, that I know of. There is a kid in Tacoma with a 6.0 in his camaro but I only talked to him when I worked @ GM and never saw him post online anywhere.

It was really easy to do. Get a form from DMV, fill it out, have your title and ID, proof of insurance in OR.
No car required, no inspection nothing! What they do is to switch your registration to SIV that was $80.00 and then I insisted on keeping my original plates, so then they charge you $1.00 for the SIV tag, so for $81.00 I was done!
You only need 1-plate on the back! You will only recieve 1-tag, I haven't had a front plate since I bought the ride, so this makes that solid!
Although I do carry the front plate with just incase. No more deq, nothing! And as I think back, shoot they didn't ask for anything but my DL I took the other items just incase.
The interesting thing is on those tags there is a mileage stipulation, however they never asked what the current mileage is!
When I left DMV, I had a temp tag and registration, about 2 weeks later the above tag showed and a few days later the SIV registration showed.
Now if you are using your ride for a daily driver, I don't know how ideal this will work.
On Insurance, I roll on a policy through Haggerty, there are other insurance options, this company was reccomended and it runs me a hundie and change a year, with a cash payout if I opt for that on theft, total etc, or they'll fix it.
Now with that policy, if you cancel 6 months in...too bad no refund!
It's for rides like ours, not a daily driver, mods etc, the amount will vary depending on what options you choose. Send me a PM if you need some numbers and options.

That's awesome. Thanks rich. So you just have to make sure you have a destination in mind right? I heard you can only drive it to and from events or performance related appointments.

And no one south of Portland headed up on Friday?
