Haha. I was wondering how long it would be before the video of that run would make youtube
And Aaron, I know where that sign is too. There is this little town named, you guessed it, outside of Detroit _________________ 92 Camaro

YEEAA BABY! The hawks held their own in the first meeting until a bad call just before haftime helped Brees to a TD. This game featured several non holding calls on NO's left tackle, but the hawks pulled it out. Hell yea, worst team to ever make the playoffs just stuck it to the SB winner bad non calls and all.
Chicago should be worried.......Packers will take out the Iggles Sunday and the hawks will go back to Chicago next weekend. Cant wait to here the same lame ass announcers give the Hawks no chance again. This is the NFL and on any given Saturday.. or Sunday. I found it hillarious that the NFL network and CBS commentators where pasty faced when discussing the best game of the weekend. Non of them gave the hawks a chance. They must not have watched game film of there prior meeting. NO's defense sucks even worse than the Hawks and Hasselback tourched it. |

That was an awesome game. I watch a lot of college and NFL and that was one of the best runs I've seen in a looooooong time.
I've been a Falcons fan since the days of Ironhead Heyward, and the Saints were the only team who worried me, so I was a Seahawks fan. You guys put on an impressive show.
If GB beats Philly it'll be them coming to the Dome, but if Vick runs all over GB... 'Hawks and Falcons in ATL! |

Im an idiot.. if Philly had won it would be the Seahawks VS Falcons... instead it's Green Bay coming to Atlanta. |

GB/Phil wouldn't change Seattle. We play the Bears next week. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

It would have, because Phil was a higher seed than Seattle. Seattle was #4 seed, as the team that won their division, but worst record, Phil was #3. |

They caught a break today. Bears they stand a chance against. Falcons not so much. |

If the defense you guys had against the Saints show up, Cutler will throw multiple picks. |

I was front row for the Falcons game a few weeks ago. It was bad. I think they might have the better chance if they put Whitehurst in from the get go since he scored the only touchdown in that game iirc. lol. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Thats a big IF! The Seahawks are the "Sybil" of the NFL (ie, they have multiple personalities)! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

But all of their personalities are a better team now than they were in week six. I'm not just talking about stepping up the game for the playoffs, they are just plain better. Even with that, Chicago scored 7 of its points on a punt return for a touchdown and of course the extra point inside the two minute warning. take those points off the final score and the Chicago offence only scored 13 to Seattle's 23. Chicago suffered six sacks, and that Seahawks team simply wasn't as good as this team is.
I heard a sports radio know-it-all saying that he might just sleep in Sunday, and wait for the real game to start. He said Chicago was going to blow the Hawks out by half time. Well I don't know if the Hawks will win or not, but it will be a far better game than they seem to think.
Pete Carroll was making changes to the roster, some players were trying to get adjusted to the Seahawks organization and while veteran players were busy trying to get used to a new coaching staff. Charlie Whithurst, while he didn't play in week six was worse than a rookie. He was drafted by San Diego in 06 as a third string QB. I have heard that he has either played in 0 NFL games, or perhaps as many as two for the Chargers. Either way in '10 he comes to the Hawks four years out of college with a maximum of two games under his belt. At least a rookie has played in college within the past year. Point being that Matt is healthy, Charlie has the rust worked loose, the D line looks great, and 7-9 not withstanding this team looks as good as any.
All Chicago has done is figure out that they don't have a passing game, This should be a good game. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |
