We drove it down to the pier and it seems to be driving pretty smooth. Mighty squirrely... New tires might help. lol. Still a flat spot. I'll have to take it to someone to tune the carb right.

Just thought I'd fill you guys in. haha

Good to hear you got it running, dude. Tuning that initial bog out of a Holley is kind of a thing. Laughing I wouldn't waste my money paying someone to tune it though. First make sure all the simple stuff is right (float level, idle mix, ect.) then Google "holley bog" and start reading!

Well I'll have to do that. thanks.

I'll be getting new tires, getting the heat working right, and getting 2 other rims.

Speaking of which, how do you think 15" rims on the front and 17's on the back would look?

Same rims or different? I would think 17's in the front and 15's on the rear with 30" street slicks or something.

*facepalm*

You are confusing wheel diameter with overall tire height. Offset wheel size is bogus looking on a full-bodied car IMHO. If you want the offset look, do it with tire size.

All the more reason to create your offset via tire size, rather than rim size. Wink

Gonna agree with everyone else there, do it with tire size, plus having a 2 inch difference in wheel size looks goofy IMO, I have 17's all around and couldn't be more pleased with it.

Laughing Why not just run the 15's all around? Check it out:

Brandon's Formula:

My brother's Monterey:

Zac's Z28:

All those cars have 15" rims all around, with offset tires. As long as you don't have a big brake upgrade in your future my two cents woulds be to just run them.
