				| Ok, so i know there's ps3 buff's here.
I personally own only 4 games for my ps3, use it more for the blu ray.

but i am stoked for Gran Turismo to come out (i know, November is a way's away)

but haven't they announced any car's that are going to be in it? i've see video's and i've found a bunch of fake lists with google searches.

 anyone found anything?

Just saw this video over on GameInformer graphic's look pretty impressive, i hope the car's handle good.

If it ever comes out? Even cooler.

				| Yes i believe it's 2 year's since being announced or something.
they have a 1,000 car roster, with 800 being "standard" and 200 being "premium"

The premium are greatly detailed down to the stitching in the seat's, the standard i guess are still pretty well detailed.

Also, official release date's been announced November 2nd.

How many official release dates has GT5 had?

I really love how they charged for the demo.

				| I was originally a huge Gran Turismo fan. I owned and played every one religiously. Then I played Forza 2 and wow, the physics were actually way better than GT4. I was going to wait until GT5 and FM3 both were out so I could compare them then use that comparison to determine whether I would buy an xBox or a PS3. However, a friend of mine gave me a free xBox so I bought Forza 3 and haven't looked back since. I'm kind of sick of all the false hope and hype that Polyphony had generated by announcing that they were developing GT5 what, 3 years ago now? They were starting to bring them down to Blizzards level, but at least Blizzard is releasing StarCraft 2 in 2 weeks. _________________

				| Well I see alot of positive vibe towards Polyphony
As far as i know, i could be wrong. if i am please say so, an "Official" release date was never announced by Polyphony, there was rumor's and what-not surrounding it.

I was watching a deal on G4 about what's going on with it, and They've said Sony has been letting them have more "creative" time for the project. So when they release it they won't be like most games (forgive me you forza fans) but they dont want it to be released like them where they have to provide a code to add more car's they should of already been in the game..

I personally hate this generation of console because they enable game developers to not fine-tune the game's and we constantly have to wait for a game to update, or for the people who don't have internet on their ps3 or xbox get screwed as far as updates. or "bonus content" that a game comes with that you must download..guess your screwed on that $80 "special edition" or your gamestop pre-order bonus Skin, character, etc. because ops, no dsl.

pardon my rant, i just found out i couldn't system link cod waw with my cousin because he didn't receive the latest updates and we didn't have an internet connection.

				| I'd play Forza if it was on PS3. I'll be happy to see GT5 finally get released, but for now I'm pretty busy with CoD: MW2 and CoD: Black Ops is coming out in November too! _________________

				| I haven't turned back to Gran Turismo since I first played the FM1 demo. FM3 is all I really play now, just sucks they left things out from FM1/2 that shouldn't have left. Like training your own assistant driver (FM1), or the change in exhaust note from customizing (FM2). | |

				| Well, I had hopes..not high tho. all i can say is i hope it's worth the wait. Not like i have the cash flow to buy a game anyways, i want to get MOH and Fallout.
Between paying the shop for the work for my 355, and paying the guy for my clutch fixed. I'm out of funds for a while.

Bright side I HAVE MY CAMARO BACK ON THE ROAD! drove it all day today. and man.. Do I miss driving with the T-Tops off.

				| Two things I always hated about GT were no roll overs (i.e. it was impossible to flip a car no matter what crazy-ass manouver you pulled) and no vehicle damage. Not sure how realistic the physics will be this time around, but "Deformable" panels are already confirmed to be in GT5, so at least we will be able to dent-up if not destroy our cars. _________________

				| Well it's been out for a while now, finally got it and played it, after playing forza this whole time and seeing the semi-finished GT, i've gotta say, graphic wise and driving physic's, I like GT more, as far as the customization aspect. Forza stole the show even tho it was released way before GT.
Still, I do enjoy GT alot, still consider it a solid buy. I'm into the game a way's and still have yet to see anywhere close to 1000 car's.

				| I'm enjoying GT. I'm about 50% through the game. I don't doubt that there are 1000 cars, but there are lots of cars there are no use for, and are just dumb. There are lots of versions of race cars, that is how they get to the 1000 number. With like 24 version of GT-R race cars, you can get that number.
With the new updates, it has gotten better. The damage for multiplayer mode is nice. I am just hoping that they add some more tracks with some of the updates.
