Yup..needed more repairs, this time, a good 1500 bucks. That thing always put me in debt. So sick of it, I just gave it to the dealer, they gave me a check for 5 grand...I lost a shitload of money on it but now I owe nothing on any credit cards I had to take out for the GP. Id rather be in debt for a good reliable daily driver than a money pit that stresses the hell out of me.

I got a 2008 Astra XR, low miles, for 8900! Still under warranty, all that fun shizzle. So that's my story for today.

Wish me luck fellas, getting a bit out of the car scene and more focused on school and getting my aviation degree.

Shocked Whoa. That's a hell of switch.

Well good luck with the schooling and as much as it sucks, concentrating on that for now is probably the better idea. Smile

Maybe you can have the first Astra to ever hit 14's in the quarter. Laughing

Should be easy. Find a 1.6L turbo engine, ship it over the pond, and go. Wink

Will make your GT look like a cheap date, though. Hell, good luck finding any parts for a car built in Europe for one and a half years. Razz

BTW, did the dealer pay you five grand, plus give you a Vauxhall? Or are we not counting turnaround here, cause it sounds like you make out like a bandit. Confused

Sorry to hear that! Your car was very clean, awesome, and fast. Wish you luck in school and such though!

Ah... It's hard to picture you without it! But you'll be back into cars eventually. you'll just be making good dough when you come back to that hobby.
