Gangsters think they have it rough, well, try being a good father.

You can not truly appreciate the spoof vid unless you have a couple of kids. I thought it was funny becuase I still remember listning to NWA before they were popular while I was a freshman in a Sacramento HS.

I remember thinking the same thing 10 years ago. Then the testorone kicked in and I talked my wife into having kids. We have two boys now, 4 and 7 YO, they are great kids, but no matter what, if you decide to have children you will be trading off things that used to matter for things that dont matter to you at the time. No complaints on my part, it is just different know.

I had the same talk with a buddy of mine the other day. He's only a year older (27) but has three kids. They're great little midgets! He would've followed the same obsession with dumping every dollar into cars if he didn't have them but doesn't regret it at all. It's cool to see.

I bet all your cars have got all the new stuff on them, bigger better faster....
that's great.

I just bolted up a mini starter I stole from my kids car today, hey his car is torn down, he won't miss it for a while yet, lol......

so, next is that darn fuel pump, ordered a walbro from summit today.
then I need a posi unit, this thing is a one wheel wonder.
the 305 still has a little life left after sitting for 9 years out side.
the kids couldn't believe I got it running...lol, crazy old man still has has some tricks.

so I will be touting a 305 for a while, seems to run ok, and shift strong, at least on the gravel roads on the hills of Eatonville. lol.....

I'm sure glad this site is still here.
I sold all the chip burning software years ago, will have to buy again, should have kept it, could have used it in my old redneck 88 burbon, I just swapped out the old, tbi 350, it froze, cracked the block, yep no anti freeze last winter, ouch....
oh well runs lots better now anyway.
pickinh up another 305 this week, just to put oin the corner of the shed.
got a few more block laying around, but nothing running.

I will try an post some pics of my shed, shop, this week, the loft is closed in, and the pool table is in use! oh ya, there lots of empty beer bottles up there.....along with a stereo, no power, just a good extention cord.
to much fun. glad I got the table, dam thing weighs 700 lbs. had to pay someone to set it up, 3 piece slate.

anyway, I will be back to working on these two camaros soon, mine 1st this time. hahah.

see ya
scott

Hah, you give some of us too much credit. I haven't done a thing to my car in a couple years now (other than keep it running).
