James and I (and possibly John, if he can get out of bed before noon ) will be heading down to Portland by way of Skamokawa to pick up some parts for the Mad Mountain Man Build.
I don't think anything is really set in stone yet, but there has been talk of brewing festivities.
If anybody is interested in joining up, has any ideas for things to do while were down there, or has any parts that need transport, please speak up! |

If someone wants to help with gas I can *90%* cruise down with you guys (meaning someone doesn't have to ride in the back of a thirdgen they can ride in my wind-mobile ). I'm still making sure the car is fixed. I love a good road trip. Or I can just ride down with you. I'm probably not doing anything. _________________

I think James, Aaron, and I (if I go) will be riding in James' Blazer, not a 3rdgen! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Four guys, four Firebird seats and a gas tank in the Blazer might be a stretch.
James, you think we can make it all fit? |

Doesn't look like I have work on Sat. Maybe I might be up to a road trip. I'll know later in the week, probably by Thurs. _________________ 92 Camaro

i believe we can make it fit...plus if we have some rope, we can tie down something on the roof if necessary. _________________

Hey Aaron, where abouts in Portland are you heading I will see about meeting you guys and saying hello, that would be great!
Also I have a sweet 3-piece bench seat cover from my ford, if you are interested, I have it on CL but no big deal.
Give me a shout man! _________________

We will definitely stop at Mike's because that's where all my parts are.
Not sure beyond that, probably stop at the brewfest, and maybe stop by Dan's if I pull that A/C delete box.

Hehe... the seat in my truck has issues no seat cover can resolve. That's the other reason it's not going to Portland . Thanks though, Rich. |

No overtime this week, that includes Saturday. When/where should we group up? |

Bring some earplugs and a crank position sensor.

Ben Dews Clubhouse is the usual meet up spot for our weekend stuff. Perhaps James could chime in here about meetup time since he's driving. |

Is this a John-approved start time?
In any case, this might be a thing. |

i would say the time is a compromise...i like starting things at 8 and john likes starting things at 10 (primarily due to where he drives from...when he was in t-town, we started earlier.) _________________

ok, this grew a bit lol.
Looks like I can offer up a place to crash for folks. Kids will be around so won't be a huge party or anything but have couches, floor, etc.
Figure out the rest of the plan and let me know when you are going to be here. We can meet up at my place or meet downtown... whatever works best. We could also meet here and then just take the MAX train from Clackamas Town Center (about 5 miles from my place) all the way downtown. Keep us from driving all across town
Up for whatever but beer sounds good and weather says HOT for Saturday.
Lemme know.

Thanks, Mike. That makes it much easier.

I'm down for this. I would imagine parking at the waterfront would be lousy.
Looks like I'll be spending this week's paycheck on beer and car parts. At least I wont be wasting it. |
