My transmission is going out and I will need another one for a couplee months.
I have a manual trans to go in, but I do not have time to do that swap right now.
So does anyone have a CHEAP auto transmission that will last me a couple months??[/quote] _________________ -Donald

C'mon if you have everything it doesn't take much more time to swap the T5 in than it does to R&R an automatic.
There are enough of us guys that might be willing to work for Beer/Pizza in the Tacompton/Seattle area that I'm sure we could get you rowing in no time. Especially if you have access to an air compressor. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

We'll be busy on the 22nd, and we need to change John's clutch at some point, but buy the swap stuff, and throw a weekend out there Donald. I'll show up with my topbox. |

Clutch material in the fluid means I'd imagine you wont be driving around in second for long. When the 700 in the IROC blew the fluid went from bright red to dark grayish-brown immediately. Plus the top speed of like 40 kinda sucks.
Try the Pull-A-Part by McChord. They rarely have a decent turdgen there, but if they do it's like less than $100 for everything including a transmission.
If not, try the one in Tumwater. |

A pick up trasnmission will work also. Same trans as long as they are the same length.
I will have a 700r4 in a few weeks going to replaced my wifes one with a new one.
Also have a slave cylidner and and set of pedals. _________________ kurfbird
