Turbo KA24 builds are rare, but even in a turbo motor there's no replacement for displacement. We want to prove that an SR isn't the only way to make power in a 240SX.
Either that or an RB25/26 swap. We haven't looked into that as much though. |
Sounds like a good deal...me and a buddy RB25DET'd swapped his S14 back in April last year. Thing runs hard on 7 pounds.
Also, the fastest 240SX on the planet uses a KA.

That would be a really cool swap.
Speaking of LSX swaps, there is a local here with an LS1 Swapped Rx7 with just nitrous...runs mid 10's. _________________ 1998 Grand Prix GT | 12.91 @ 103 - Sold/Retired

LS1's swapped into anything is pretty damn cool. I've seen a LS1 FD3S at PIR. Those kind of swaps never fail to have the "wow" factor. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I'm headed out Friday too. Depending on what time, we could meet somewhere on I-5. I typically would catch I-5 at Olympia, there is a rest area just south at about mile post 95 or so. |

You guys find a convenient time, I have all day off and can leave anytime Oly seemed as likely a spot as any, but I can also go across the bridge and find a spot a little farther north in Tacoma to meet - Krispy-Kreme at the mall?? |

We will probably be leaving Seattle around 6 or 7pm. Maybe sooner, bringing two friends. Going to figure it out tonight for times. |

Agreed. I have something in mind, but I'll have to borrow Shultzy's oven as it won't be cooked yet, but ready to go into the oven (or fridge) when I arrive |

John, James, Donald and myself are leaving Tacoma from the 512 P&R Saturday morning. We could probably arrange to meet up with you somewhere farther south. |
