Hello dear mister lama.
I am not satisfied with the rate I am collecting my automotive knowledge. I am to poor for schooling, and I question the practicality of it. I do learn a lot when I am working on my own maro, but being of a young age, I have not had to tinker with many systems yet. I am not content to wait for things to break, or break to them myself, which seems to be common.
Ideally I would like to work in a garage, but with my previously mentioned lack of experience, It seems that may be harder then I imagined. Many auto techs at the local dealerships have been laid off, and at best Id be changing oil. Id still prefer it over nothing considering I have to start somewhere.
Id like to hang out in local crewbie garages but I imagine that my simple questions would get old fast. I lucked out getting a automotive savie father figure. so crewbies are the next best thing....
any recommendations on the matter would be appriciated.

Dear Dimwit,
I suggest you try posting in the back porch as "Dear Chevymad and Twilightoptics".
Or, if you would prefer, I am more than willing to give you a top 10 list of reason to get a desk job.
Hardly working,
The Lama |
