I had been looking for another stock TA wheel (83) and didn't find much, what was out there was BEAT...and the prices were outrageous for what condition the wheels are in.
My wheel is perfect, and I wanted to preserve it (yea i know!!)
So Schultzy suggested checking out Paul's Grant...Sold!
I took it and Paul was cool enough to bring over his gear and help me out.
The diameter is 2" smaller, but the wheel fits my meat-hooks like a glove and the comfort factor is just amazing, and it blends with the color scheme and the theme, here is a pic, installed and feeling great!

Thanks guys...truly appreciate it!
last Saturday like 1 or so...it was a quick change!
Oh and the shifter...is for a Stang! So I am sending it back, the base is like 3 x 5 or so...Wrong! I was like Shizzle!
LOL...it took me a day or so to warm up to the look and size, but now I really like it, and steering is a whole new adventure Laughing
After install, I went to get fuel and a couple of guys walked by as I opened the door...I hear Whoooa...check that wheel out!
They had never seen anything like it before! I so wanted to play it up..yea dude from the space shuttle Laughing but no...

I think most aftermarket steering wheels are worse then stock. But that one looks good! Cool Can't say I care for the Grant emblem and center cap though. But I'm kind of anti logo/emblems in the first place so I'm kind of biased.

looking good man!

Maybe like a "silver shark" in the center where the horn button is, or a Silver firechicken?

I love that wheel! I have the same on in the blue accents! The smaller diameter took some getting used to but it is really nice once you get used to it!

Lookin good man! Very Happy

Looks good Rich. I replaced the grant center button with the pontiac arrow that Paully posted. Knowing you, I would suggest making a silver shark center button Wink

Talk about a great conversation piece...Nice!
You are absolutely right, once you get that bad boy in-hands..it stays!
Paul...Brilliant...You are the man dude!
Tell ya what, if they have a blank button, I have an artist! Laughing
That Pontiac button is looking good, I have no issues with the Grant logo, but that Pontiac would just fit the cause!
Thanks for all of the compliments fellow crewbies...I appreicate it!
1-800-button Laughing Ker-Ching!

Goofy Question...Can you buy direct from Grant, or will I need to go to Summit or JEGS??

You have to buy through a dealer. Summit or Jegs will likely be your best bet unless you have a hook up at a parts store.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GRT-5655/

~$10 less than list price on Grant site. Of course you have the handling fee.... time to buy more parts to make it worthwhile Very Happy

Sweet! I have some decent hookups, but none of which have this jewel!
Oh I can find a few other things to get out from under that testy handling fee!
Thanks Mike!

I can get it for $17

Saves you the gnarly summit handling price.

Hey Paul that would be awesome...please do, I will reimburse you any out of pocket expense, and I will roll your way to pick it up.
Yea...looks great, let me know when it blows in and I will head on over!
Thanks so much!!
