Yes I know this isn't the for sale forum, but i wanted this to get noticed. Foster U-Pull-It in portland has a full set of four 245/50R16's for $175. Looks to be at least 95% or more rubber left on them. That's 44 per tire. Good price if your in the market for set.

Nice find, but those are perhaps the worst performing "performance" tire on the planet.

I went through two sets myself. Others here have used them as well.

The best? no, but a pretty good value for the money. At this price kind of a no brainer. Strong disagreement that they are the 'worst'.

Ii realize they it's not top notch rubber, but for about two benji's new 16" rubber all the way around just might help a crewbie out. And as far as concerned this is what it's all about here. Didn't cost me much to get the word out, just a few displaced electrons here and there.

I'd buy them right now if I was in the Portland area. The Camaro and T/A both need new rubber.

I wish there was something I could do to help you. I just hate buying things for people that they have not personally looked at. Not to mention I don't have two benji's to spare right now.

Well I work at Discount Tire and I see more complaints of those tires than any other tires we get back.

I went through a set of the ecsta and a set of the ecsta supras and they're totally decent for the price.

No worries, just relaying my experience in case someone was scared away from a good deal by your comments. I will say that the two sets I had were the Ecsta Supras (which I don't believe they sell anymore). I am not real easy on tires (despite the MRA moniker!) and for the money I was pretty impressed. Hell, I even got a 1.9 60 ft at the strip with them in a 3,850 lb car Wink

So you're telling me that your 60' times with street tires are the same as Pauls 60' times with DR's?

Hey dickhead. I cut a 1.8 60ft. Like I stated before I wasn't going for the 60ft time, I was trying to get the line lock working. Doesn't help when it doesn't hold. And Mike's 1.9 was something like a 1.97? lol Very Happy
