He'll have trouble getting that much for it. I saw an east-coast low mileage Formy go on TGO for around 4K. This eonomy sucks for selling old junk.

That said, you're basically a paint job and a 350 away from having that car anyway. And seats, might need some seats too... Razz

Maaco is okay if you prep yourself or spend the extra money to get more work done. Don't go get teh $150 paintjob.

just for the record. i got their top paint job.. paid them and supplied them with new parts for the front end, and all that good stuff. so it seems like even if you give them $3500 it's still not good enough..

Lots of places where $3500 could get you something decent. Typically they are all independent. I've seen some pretty hot $3k paint jobs. Gotta shop around and avoid paint jail.

Of course we are dealing with people. It's not like a bolt on kind of goods. Painting is hard!
