Since the election in November there is speculation that ammunition may get even more expensive than it currently is, so the time has come to make my own. Plus I can choose al kinds of differant loads and custom make them for a specific application. Got some supplies and a sweet bench setup ( thanks to Jenn) and made my first rounds tonight.
The bench.
First order of business is to find an even more grusome way to vaporize ground squirrels. This bad boy should do the trick.
Nosler 40 grain ballistic tip bullet zipping along at 3600 feet per second.
A little thing I call "lift and seperate". Lifts them off the ground and then seperates them into uncountable pieces. Instant FUBAR!!!

haha very nice gift. Good plan too. B was saying looks like you might have to start registering all ammo pretty soon too... possibly supplies to make it as well.
Watch out though...

Nice! that is a great looking setup you have!
I did the same as far as stocking up on the ammo
Grabbed a couple of AR-15's as well...not as easy as it used to be to get those.
I have a close associate who reps for Mossberg, and Winchester, he seems to think that some thick regulations may work down the pipe.
He told me if there is a recession, it's not in his industry! his sales are 35% higher this year than over the last 3 years, hmm no surprise there.. shot guns are in the lead! mainly the shorties! followed by pistols, ammo, and soft gear.
I just did a deal with him for this pump gun!
