Is hitting the portland crew as normal. I over heated on the way to Paul's today, and left a nice puddle of coolant in his driveway (sorry Dude!).
I think most of us are still working on getting our junk to cows. Mike isn't working on anything though, that might be a bad sign.
Ahh, if only the curse was just limited to Dyno weekend...

I'm gonna be cutting it close, but I think between a few of us dedicated crewbies, we can get Paul, John and Myself up there in one piece.
Its just another adventure and story to tell later on.... _________________

Ok, well newest issue, while coming down a hill today on my way home from work, when I hit the brakes at 60-70mph, the front end starts hopping and shaking, it was shaking the steering wheel, and the cowl was shaking pretty bad.
Not sure what this is. Brandon, any ideas. Paul and I are going to look at the steering parts, to see if we can find any slop in the tie rods or idler arm. Could it just be crusty old brakes/rotors if only one side did that, would it cause the wheel to shake like that?
Ohh, and I need a new coolant temp sensor, but of course that is easy. |

My brakes are acting similarly. Only when I brake hard, then the steering wheel shakes back and forth quite hard sometimes. Last time it did this I thought one of the wheel bearings was a bit loose, took them apart, re greased them and put them back together and all seemed well. Only just recently it's started up again. Maybe time for a brake rebuild and having the rotors turned. _________________ 92 Camaro

Plus we chose to build 3rd gen Camaro's and Firebirds.
It's not like we started out with a big budget. |

I think the best way to get your junk to cows is knock it around a little bit. _________________

I have to replace my oil pan and timing cover.
Chain broke while I picked the motor up and dumped it nose first on the ground.
Then my motor hoist decided to lose all its pressure, so I couldn't pick it back up....and I lost the fill screw for it...
I swear to god man.....F--ing cows curse!! _________________
