looks like it has 2 shifter positions for truck or car use?

Could you change gears to see what "happens"? Very Happy

That's actually really cool Tony. I've never seen one together like that. Only torn apart on a bench.

yeah it shifted and rotated, all the gears are machined undersized so that you can turn it by hand on the bench. it is clearly for display only.

i was poking at it for a few minutes before some guys came up and started giving the booth guy all kinds of shizzle about how automatics are so much better for drag times and how all these kids put all this money into thier cars, and they sit there spining the tires in neutral because they won't go get a good automatic, and bla bla bla... i mentioned that cars were not meant to go only in a straight line, and that you have to "row your own" through the twisties. one guy said "row?" and looked at me like i was speaking Spanish until i grabbed the shifter and made a "rowing" motion with my arm while saying "row, you know, like an oar..." really slow. it was kinda funny how slow they picked up on it.

the show was prety cool though, i met Lon from TDS, nice guy. i also got a two year subscription to chevy high tech performance for only $20. and a FREE SHIRT! Shocked

From what I've read that upper shift plate was used on vipers and such.

That one on the far left is made out of pot aluminum for some unknown reason. Damn GM bean counters...

That's the piece that blew apart on mine.

We have cut-away Tremecs at work. You can get the TKO in I believe 4 different locations of shifter.
