Dont know if anyone gets this magazine, but here's the article. They used an Abrams tank exhaust blower powered off a snowmobile engine to generate 1000lbs of downforce!!!!

Jay, it reduces your track time by 10%, its cool. Just think, if they put 3 of those under the corvette, you could suck it to a ceiling! Much like an F1 car that produces its body weight in downforce at 60, this uses a fan to do 1/3 the effect at 0mph.
