Misc. Questions that NEED answers/opinions/advice
Intro-
Sorry this is gonna be a bit long winded, but everything in here is extremely relavant and important to myself before my parents move and I go to college.
For starters, my paint job got all screwy and I need to delay painting part of it to allow my parents to clear out the garage, then I can finish painting and bring the car into storage.
Questions-
--What do I need to do to store a car with no motor/tranny. The only thing I can think of being important is the heater core, cause I do not want it giving out and leaking all over. There is fuel in the tank, but I will siphon it out before the car ever runs
--The car will be stored for almost 9 months (and it has already been sitting 8 months). What precautions should I take to prevent any bad thing happening
--I have a lg4, 305 in pieces, and a 700r4 that is decent with 186k. What should I do with these. Where can I dispose/sell the 305, and is there any value in the heads/flywheel/manifold etc
--Any more advice
Thank you so much, this car is slowly gnawing away my life expectancy. _________________

| Howdy, I dunno if anyone would want to buy those from you especially with all the miles, How many pieces exactly is the lg4 in? And is that 700r4 in good shape? I may be willing to take these off your hands for you. But I wouldn't pay for them... |

The lg4 still has the cam and crankshaft in it, and the oil pan on it.
The heads and the manifold are just sitting next it, and the carb is somewhere..
And the 700r4 I'd like to get a few buck for, cause it is in some pretty nice shape. Best I can figure is it only needs a new TC. _________________
