He seemed like an arse to me and they did neat, but shoddy work.

Sucks that people die though.

He did lots of good cars. I've heard a lot of how the reality TV thing is ruining shops cause there is no drama in the way it normally happens. Toss in a week deadline and things suddenly get interesting.

I am with you there. He went bankrupt enough after many failed ventures, but influenced a lot of people into buying tri year chevy's for too much.

Absolutely. Automotive TV is practicly a joke. Fake drama like artificial deadlines results in shoddy work. Likewise, artifical handicaps like on Pinks ruin TV drags.

As for Coddington, I've seen a lot of his work, and he had good style. I liked his stuff better than Foose, but I couldn't say on the quality.

I feel the same way. He was only 63, wonder what the cause of death will be.

I really liked some of the cars that they came out with but after seeing how everything is run HE himself I dont think built most of those cars so I give my respect to the acual builders more then him for the cars! Theyre the talented ones. To me anyone can stand back and tell someone what they want something to look like. It takes real talent to make them come to realty.
Although it sucks that he is gone since he did add to the car scene!
