|
|
I have been considering seat covers for my car as my drivers side seat is getting worn pretty bad. I was hoping I can just go to the local salvage yard and use a passengers seat for my drivers seat as most passenger seats are in much better condition. I have an electric seat for my driver side seat only. If I were keeping the car, I would get some leather seats for the front and rear, however, I want to keep my costs down and seat covers kind of look cheap!
So will putting a new/used passengers seat on to the chasis of my electric drivers seat frame be difficult??? |

nope. 4 bolts, that's it.
the seat comes out with 4 nuts, and the tracks come off with 4 bolts.
put track on the new seat and your set!
some things will be different, like the recline feature...but it'll fit in there! _________________ we all gotta start somewhere.... |

Dang! I did not even think about the recline function on the right side of the seat Guess I'm gonna have to search for a decent drivers seat.
Thanks for the reply and good information |

do don't recline a lot do you?
i wouldn't worry about it. it can be a "special" option on your seats! _________________ we all gotta start somewhere.... |
