Dudes! I got a PS3 for my birthday with Heavenly Sword! HOLY FRICKEN BADDASSNESS! Did anyone else know that the controller has a 3 axis accelerometer in it? In the game you can "steer" thrown objects by tilting the controller! I just had to share, I stayed up way too late playing it last night. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Ya, all that controller steering actually works now! Freakin me out. Like when your being grappeled you can break out of it by shaking the controller. Weird stuff like that. Now I wish I had a better TV Rolling Eyes Thats the next step. Get something like Mangus, big baller.

Got one for my 17 yr old and Rock Band too, he is an expert already on guitar, he plays drums for real so that not a challenge to him at all. The drums are pretty realistic though lot of fun, he has the PSP too and can access the PS3 from it, its trick.

I heard GHIII is harder

GHIII a lot harder than rockband, but you can also play it by yourself...

Rock Band was made by the same company who originally started the GH series, but it's geared more for multi-player ... I want to play it, but I can't justify spending $200 on a game that I'd never play since I suck @ the friends hahaha.

As much as I really hate Sony, I may actually break down and buy a PS3 for the Blu-Ray capabilities because HD is losing it's entire support from other developers... Universal I think is the last one developing HD-DVD now, Paramount just left to go to Blu-Ray because Warner Brothers did, and Dreamworks is a Paramount affiliate so they'll likely be dropping HD-DVD as well...

but again, the justification thing is hard for me, there are very few games I'm interested in playing on it, and I have yet to buy an HD TV... Sad

Don,

As a guitar player, how do you do at GH? I am all sorts of thrown off, because all my muscle memory wants to run through modes up/down the strings, the whole 5 button thing messes with me.

its true! Actual guitar ability does not equal guitar hero ability. I can be really thrown off. BUT my fingers have all kinds of dexterity that my friends' don't have.
