|
|
So i just measured the front sway bar on my bird, (monkey wrench/ruler) it was 1 1/2" i double and triple checked it from above and below the car, and on diff locations accross the bar. That = 38.09mm according to the calculator. Any ideas? is my math off? 91 Lo3 bird drum brake rear, T5 i figured it would have a 30mm it was a pleasant suprise, but i wanna make sure im not measuring incorrectely. _________________ 1991 Firebird L03 T-5 |

If I'm not mistaken, the largest factory front sway bar is a hollow 36mm. You might be about .1" off as 36mm is 1.42" (easy to do). 36mm is what I was looking for when I ended up with the 34mm that I have on my red 89.
My purple daily driver V6 has the stock 30mm front and 18mm rear. |

I would bet that it is a 36mm bar. Those were the largest offered on a thirdgen from everything that I have seen. Pretty easy to be off a couple mm using that method.

That was what i was thinkin, i'll double check when i get some cheapo digital calipers. Looks super weathered, so i dont think its aftermarket. im pretty glad it came beefy stock. one less part to mod. _________________ 1991 Firebird L03 T-5 |
