Another Tragedy, Head on with a semi!!!!
Happened by my house.
Its tuff to comprehend what the person’s family is going through right now.

We should all save this stuff for the track; it can happen to any of us if we do crap like this.
It just reminds me to be responsible.

Whoa, fights with semi's are rarely won. I just had an old friend tell me he fell asleep at the wheel and bumped into the wheels of the semi driving next to him on the highway. The truck driver didn't even notice! 3000lbs<120000lbs.

I saw a little piece about that on the traffic report this morning. Only report I heard was that HWY 512 was reopened after a fatal crash, shortly after 8:00 this morning. Didn't know it was from a street race until now.

It is always sad to hear that stuff, and a good reminder to keep it safe, and save the racing for the track.

Happening on 512 doesn't suprise me, when I was up there every week, there were always people doing stupid stuff on 512 between I5 and Puyallup

True dat! Rolling Eyes

Heard about a real bad head-on wreck in Sherwood OR last night. Happened right in front of my uncle's Chevron station. Two fatalities... Sad

Yeah, a lot of people try and race there. Probably because it's so close to the South Tacoma Way speeds shops and whatnot. Stupid though, way to much traffic.

I used to have a decal on my Kenworth that said:

"I've been involved in several accidental situations lately, and have won them all! Please drive safely."

If you can't play with the big boys (literally) stay on the porch. In other words, don't f*** with a truck. It can be hazardous to ones health.

you're not kidding, even my daily with less than 200hp, got a little squirly on the freeway when I downshifted from 5th to 3rd to get into traffic from I-84 onto I-5.

i went around a corner a little hot today and ended up backwards. and that was at sub 35MPH speeds.. the rain adds an element of danger (excitement) to driving, but you don't need to go 100+ to experience it.

and yeah, +1 to not screwing with big riggs, they could run you over and not even notice it.

This is the damage he did to the semi, he broke its front suspension. He had to have quite alot of speed to do this..

I picked this off from Channel 5's web site

If there was ever a death more instant.

Dude.... what happened to his brakes?

Even passing can be as dangerous as side by side racing. You have to use your freakin head.
