Great find! How's the power now?

Need to wait for dry pavement Razz For now, it's a small challenge to keep them from breaking loose pulling away from a stop sign - especially uphill Very Happy

Nice Al, that makes sense why this only occured after the headers were installed.

Funny thing, same thing happened to me just the other week when I installed headers on my buick. Originally I had actually left one whole bank of cylinder's spark plugs unplugged and sitting on top of the motor, was wondering why it was running kinda rough when I started it, and one of the other techs walked by and went "you may wanna plug those in" LOL.

After that, I plugged them in, feeling like an idiot for leaving them unplugged (and amazed that the car ran as well as it did w/ only 3 cylinders) I managed to make two wrongs to make a right, and crossed # 4 and 6 spark plug wires, thought it was a exhaust leak, had it go to the exhaust shop and had them weld all the seams up (which I was gunna have done anyways), same thing, and it was backfiring lol.

Got it back to work, checked codes, had a misfire code, checked misfire count and smacked myself in the forehead.

Funny thing, I should have mentioned this earlier, could have saved you some time.

Hindsight - wonderful thing Razz Always funny to look back and kick yourself for something stupid. I didn't have the luxury of a misfire code on this old computer. Rolling Eyes I had those wires off a couple of times too, then reconnected them the same way each time. Now that it's solved I thought the whole ordeal kind of funny, fortunately I didn't replace a whole lot of unneeded parts - just the O2 which is now heated.
