So the 2.8 has a few Issues. Thankfully the oil filter did it's job.
Since it's kind of a leaker I figured at very least all new gaskets.
Well I found some chunks on the bottom of the timing cover!
That was alot of slop. So while I'm at the junk yard trying to figure out how to get a 4x4 oil pan off an s10 without an engine hoist or a jack... I'll have to get the timing chain guide/baffle thing.
This motor is starting to get sludgey too. If I wasn't doing this on the uber cheap I'd for sure tank it and get everything re-done.... since the bearings look okay, no copper, small gouge in one... I'll just run it. If something happens to the crank I'll get the 3.1 stuff.
