| Ouch. Nice ride though. 1500 man hours per car, or so they claim. |

Before I bought my '85 I was looking for a 2nd gen Camaro. I always liked the '78-'81's with a nice cowl, side pipes and some fat rear tires but now I'm diggin the '70-'73's more. When I was young my grandpa owned a '73 that he restored and was putting down 350hp to the wheels. Now that I think about it, he probably indirectly influenced my craze and obsession for cars, Camaro's in particular. One time he took me for a nice back country ride in that car. That was the first time I ever went fast in a car, He told me we hit 100mph. God that was the scariest thing in the world, but gave me an insane adrenaline rush. Now I can't get enough of it. I still remember the smell of the car. When I first got in my current Camaro the smell reminded me of his. But back on topic that is one sweet Trans Am they have there! _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

hah... you edited your post, it said "that is one sweet camaro they have there" 1st. i'm on to you
and a Trans-am is a firebird. while it is it's own model, that model is called "Firebird Trans-Am". much like a Berlinetta is a "Camaro Berlinetta".

I think tony takes the "ew" for that one.
the 77 Trans Am's were some of the best looking ones.
I always liked the 70-73 Firebirds though. _________________
