wonderfull title, isnt it?

Any way, I have found a Fiberglass hood off a z28 and it has the flaps that open with the throttle, but all the linkages and everything is gone. I plan to put the hood on this week, but I wanted to know what it would require to make the flaps work?

Thanks guys!

Tisk tisk That hood won't fit on your car. It won't clear the air cleaner on your TBI setup.

you should give it to someone who can use it *caughmecaugh* who has a carburated car.

Wink

just foolin ya....good score. I used to have that same hood on my 84 sport coupe and later my 85 Z/28. I wish I'd kept it.

you could make them like butterflies on a carb and run a cable to the end of it and then route it somewhere on your dash?

That was so mean, I thought you were serious!

Lol, is it possible to make the flaps work with my TBI?

yeah, I've just been wanting another one for some time so I can get of the flat steel one I have on my car.

it probaly wouldn't have as much "ram air" effect unless you had no air cleaner on or had an open element style air cleaner. I really don't know if the "butterfly" idea would work practically, it was just the first thing that came to mind.
