ummm i dont know. looking at the 275's they looked huge. in comparison to the stock size of 245. the guy helping me at the shop said to go with stock size to not mess up my turning radius. _________________ gas brake dip dip |

You can fit wider easily. I've got 275's up from and 295s in the rear.
Although I recently found out my rear fenderwells are smaller than hardtop/t-tops cars. |

Sweet dude! Does that mean you're going to put some milage on the rubber?
I'm a big fan of the same size on all 4 corners. |

fo sho. iono for me as long as the front tires are't like way skinnier than the rears it cool to an extent. but the difference between 245 and 275 is substantial, it doesnt look goofy at all, to me anyways. but it sucks cause i ordered them yesterday after work and the guy told me they had them in northern cali so monday we could have them on your car. i asked him if he was sure they had the right offset. cause they make a million ZR1 wheels for forthgens and like 3 for third gens. (thats three total wheels. you have to make the fourth outta wood.) he of course assured me that he was correct. so i get a call this morning. ya. they were for fourth gens. 6-8 weeks out for my offset. son of a bee sting! what ev so i knocked some skulls around and finally we decided he was gonna get me his price on some adapters. four adapters for 120$ thats my story of the week.
but yes pics will come. oh yes they will come. _________________ gas brake dip dip |

Good choice! That's the same tire combination I run on my Firebird and nobody ever told me it looks goofy! I've learned it looks better to keep tire height in proportion with the bulk of the car front and rear. It's more pleasing to the eye for the front to be a tad shorter because of the low slung lines of the hood relative to the bulky rear end of the car.
If I had to do it all over again I would run 18x10 rims in the rear to better fill the wheel well and let the rim be a little larger than the front. |
