Painted the IROC wonderbar for the 1986.
I hit it with three layers of rustolium grey primer (it STOPS rust!!!! ) and then three layers of red rustolium paint. unfortunatly i painted over rust. i had called a few places to have it sandblasted, but everyone said it would cost 20$-50$ depending on how deep the rust was. I figured "screw it" it's lasted 20 years, it will last another 20. and this is not a show car. i'm not spending 30$ on a 5$ wonderbar. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

i have one of each. the white car follows the path of light. it has red performance parts and is non threatining. it gets good gas mialage and is good for the environment. it plants trees and helps old ladies across the street.
the GTA however follows the path of darkness. it's performance parts are whatever color they come in, with a preferance toward black and blue. and it has power. the dark path is seductive.... it's power is more easily attained. it beats up old ladies to steal money for mods. it wants to burn down the forrest and pave the whole thing so it has more room to illegally race and run ricers off the road. |

the scripture says "a double minded man is unstable in all his ways" Be careful walking down that road Tony. Trying to play both sides will have you hated by both and accepted by neither...

I would have sandblasted it for you for free.
Looks good. Since I have built all of my suspension mods myself they are all blue.
But I do have one bright red suspension piece that I didn't build and didn't have time to repaint. |

I've got a red one and a blue one, does that mean I play for both teams?!?! I don't like the sound of that... _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

both teams yes, but you have not crossed over to the dark side where the true power exists.
