Go for what you think is the most well made piece. Quality is top priority. They will all perform similarly.
Personally, I've had good luck with Hooker Supercomps. A good thick flange and no leaks. However, If I had a 4th gen I would install long tube headers. The LS1 really responds to it and they will work even better as you do further modifications in the future. |

Mine's only a 3rd gen but I have SLP's and I like them. Do you want something that has a ceramic coating? or raw metal and you paint em yourself?
Would the Hooker 2055's work on an LT1?
*EDIT* I guess the 2055's would be the very first option in the poll huh? _________________

Going to give the vote to long tubes...
most of it depends on the cash you want to spend on them though...
SLP headers, at least on an LS1 car, hang FAR too low, and though they're stainless they're also coated and that will come off fairly quick.
Kooks Stainless are stainless as well, and expensive. But worth it.
PaceSetter LongTubes are the best for the budget minded, as they're mild steel but coated with a decent coating, bit more durable than the JetHot coatings, however they restrict more flow than say, the Hooker SuperComp LT's
PaceSetter's run about $375
Hooker SuperComp LT's (coated) run $600
Kooks Stainless are, give or take, $900-1100.
SLP's Stainless run just under $900
they all have Y-Pipes available (or as a kit, depending) ...
so its really your call _________________
