Well, I got into an accident Wednesday night. A driver of a rental vehicle (Jeep) ran a light when I was turning and totaled my car. Not really to much to say. Another two feet and I'd most likely have been killed. I'm alright, no broken bones, but it hurts to do just about anything. Walking and sitting now really suck. I think my right hand is broken and I realize now I must have hit my head on something (window maybe?) cause I have a big bump. I'll post some pics later tonight.

Here are some pictures:

The firewall is all smashed up, the rad broke in half, frame rail is ripped, the strut tower is jammed against the header, the a/c pump is inside the the coolant overflow tank, etc...

The plan right now is to buy it back and find another car to make two into one.

I'm sorry you lost your car but I'm glad to hear you are still in one piece. Hope you have a full recovery soon. Things like that can get you shook up for a while and make driving a bit nerve racking.

Damn dewd. Much sympathy. A week before the first vfb meet i got t-boned in mine. WORDS FROM THE WISE, go get checked out by a chiropracter! You got hit hard and your back may have been thrown out. If you don't feel it now, you will soon! Cars are replaceable, but you're the only you.

A couple of zap-straps, and that can be fixed right up.

I've seen you do body work, with zap-straps before. Razz Shocked

Wow...looks like you got lucky he didn't hit your door and crush that in, you might be in worse shape.

Its too bad about the car, but at least you're alive. I agree about the chiorpractor...go see one as soon as you can...if its this guys fault (and assuming the insurnace business works the same way in canada as it does here) his insurnace company should end up paying the maximum value for your car...but I'm sure recovery is the first thing on your agenda....

sorry to see that, and hope you recover quickly..

Thanks for the support guys. It tough to see all your time and money go to waste. Lucky I have have two other Camaro's to play with. I have spent alot of time in the hospital and with a number of different doctors so I just need to follow there advice and I should be alright. I do have a new respect for just how quickly your life can change. I'll keep you guys posted.
