Well when there are enough of them I get plenty of time off but it seems like every store I talk to is short handed. So yeah, they over work most. _________________

Ok here is a quick schedule I put together so you guys can plan around it.
Saturday:
Noon to 4pm:
BBQ and Cruise-IN at Clyde Revord Motors
7900 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA.
BBQ will be served from 1:30 PM to 3 PM @ Clyde Revord Motors.
(I need to inquire about costs w/ the man who is running the show, should be pretty cheap).
4pm to ??:
Mangus' BBQ/party/whatever you want to call it at his house in Lynwood (about 10 minutes south of the above activity)
? to 10pm: Go Karting
CHAMPS NORTH
18311 Bothell-Everett Highway
Mill Creek, WA 98012-5233
probably 5 min travel on I-5 from Mangus'
Sunday:
9am – 3pm:
ALL PONTIAC SHOW & SHINE At Everett Mall,
1302 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA. |

Those of you who are flaking, regardless of the reason, SUCK!
Let me know if I need to make some phone calls to your bosses or whatever.
Those of you who have other things going on but are coming up anyway (even if it is later) - cool.
As stated in the linked thread above, I'd rather not plan to cart after the evening BBQ, but instead either before the lunch BBQ or between the lunch BBQ and evening BBQ. I just don't think the lunch BBQ needs 4 hours of our time, especially considering we'll be there all day on Sunday. We can cruise, cart, etc, on Saturday on our own, then wind down at my place in the evening without worry about getting out of the house in time to cart, etc.
That's just my $1.25. |

I like your reasoning there. I like the idea of between BBQs. Since Champs opens at noon, 11am would be difficult I wouldn't think we would need any more than a couple of hours there.
BTW prices start at $15.95 per person. Groups of 10 or more, which we should have, qualify for a discount which I'll check on. I'll need an approximate time so I can have them scedule a group event for us.
Even if we do spend all 4 hours at the Cruise-IN BBQ, a couple of hours at Champs would still put us at Mangus' place between 6 & 7pm with daylight left. Maybe sometime between 3:00 & 4:00 to show up at Champs? |

Agreed!!
We have been trying to get something going up north for a while. I still think that there are probably more folks up there than PDX Metro but never get together. Seattle gatherings usually fizzle out in the planning stages but we have a plan on this one. Let's get this thing rolling.
I am looking forward to meeting you guys. After we get the details finalized we should post up on the CC board on TGO. There are a lot of folks up in the Seattle area that don't participate or don't know about Cascade Crew.

Oh and I like the idea of Karts before BBQ. If we decide to have a few cold refreshing adult beverages then don't have to worry about impairment.
I defer to the host

^^ what he said. Although I should point out that those of you who might be under age... you may not legally drink at my house. At least not if I know about it. |

Since the host agrees, I'll call and set up the "group event" so we show up between 3:00 and 4:00. Keep in mind, Champs also serves "cold refreshing adult beverages" for those of you so inclined |
