Well thanks to Bobby I got the bumpers I needed and the ground effects I wanted for a great price! So I decided to have some fun on my day off and play with my new parts. I put things in place to test how they fit and to see the new look and then took em off and begun the long arduous process of sanding the age spiderweb cracks out of em

here's how things turned out. (PS the Jeff Gordon sticker was removed first thing Wink )

Do you still have your old bumper cover?

I WANT IT!!!

I like the 82-84 rear bumper, and I had a black one with no GFX I was going to put on, before I realized the GFX are actually molded into the bumper cover itself and they don't screw in to the body like the rest do. If you're ditching the GFX on the nose or the whole nose in favor of an 85+ nose, I would be intrested in that too. I like the older GFX.

I would love to help out but the reason I am switching is the old ones are in really bad shape. you are welcome to the rear bumper and old sideskirts. The sideskirts are in good shape but the rear is warped. The front is also warped badly and is already spoken for.

I don't care about a little warpage. It'll look better than what I got. Currently the one on my 85 has a softball sized hole in the passenger corner. I just need a replacement to keep water out, plus I like the older bumper cover. I was gonna use the one of my 84, but there's a gap where it meets the ground effects, so it looks kind of funny. Yours will look more uniform on the car.

Tell you what, The wiper motor you can have in exchange for your old bumper cover. Sound good? Whoever gives you the wiper motor, give them the bumper cover and I'll figure out when to get it from them... or if you like.........we can wait until sometime later, and we can meet in somewhere and exhange parts. I'm willing to meet you somewhere around the Seattle area. Whatever works easiest for you dude.

That sounds fair. It gets rid of my old bumper and you can have something new. However you want to work it. I can hold onto the bumper for a while and you can get it at the next get together, or you could always come up some other time.

My girlfriend and I will be up in Bothell on June 28th-30th. I can pick it up then. I'll PM you or something and we'll figure out a good place to meet and exchange.
