Took advantage of the weather today and cleaned and waxed both cars. Mom's had not been washed since she bought it in March. She totaled the one she had the day I started my engine swap in February.

Mine in front of the house

Mom's in the driveway - The 2.5L V6 in this Dodge has as much, if not more power than the 3.1L in my Camaro. Smile

I'd say it's probably the few hundred less pounds it has to pull rather than more power. A well optioned Camaro is heavy as all hell.

I'll have to look again when she's home. I think it's DOHC, but not positive, 24 valve for sure.

According to Consumer reports we have a SOHC V6.

http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/Used/reviews/full/index.cfm/id/2144/act/usedcarreviewshowall

The only V6 option for 2000 was SOHC 2.5L and 4-speed Automatic.

170hp to my 140hp

She needs new wheels to replace the rims & hubcaps - maybe some 16" when she wears out the tires she has. For now, she'll probobly get a tint job for her birthday on the 25th. Very Happy
