lookin for an xpipe.. found this on ebay.. having 2 3/4" exhaust i figured it might be easier than using reducers and things from a 3" xpipe?
i am asking because i have never delt with x pipes or anything so im not sure what i want, just lookin for a steer in the right direction. thanks _________________ 1985 Z28. Don't know what im doing stupid 4th gen broke me.

I good exhaust shop could weld the 3" X pipe without a reducer. The 2 3/4" pipe might just slide in like a slip fit.
Smaller wouldn't hurt either, because the X pipe runs on pulses.
Make sure that if you have shortie headers on your 4th gen, that there is some engineering and math done to make the collector pipes down to the X pipe the same length or you'll have adverse effects as exhaust pusles smash into each other. |
