good luck man. post up your results. do you have video equip?
Dan (alloy) and John (dewey316) autocross. Dan has quite a bit of experience. There are others that have done it... Cheezx, Iansane I think. I'm sure folks will post.
I still haven't been (as a driver) but probably be an excercise in slipperiness.

Well i had a blast! I have a lot of learning to do. Autocross is not as easy as i thought, especially in a stock car with waves of body roll lol. The only bad thing is on the way home from the tri-cities my tranny got stuck in fouth gear and would not come out. Trying to get your car going from a stop light in fourth gear is not easy. Now i need a new t-5 hoping to find one before the next event next month, i think im hooked. |

Was it your clutch that went bad, or the tranny? |

its the tranny, i could still use the clutch to get the car moving in 4th. i can pull it out of 4th gear, but the shifter wont move toward any of the other gears. |

I love autocrossing! I got into it last summer in my little 1987 acura. So I bought my camaro at the end of the season but didn't get a chance to race it yet. I am so excited to race it this summer! What are all your experiences while autocrossing? _________________ 1983 Z-28 5.7 LT1, T56, Headman headers, BW 9 Bolt Posi Disc, WS6 suspension

Well I have not taken my car out (yet) but rode shotgun with Dan (Alloy) at a local event. It was a blast - I even got a little queezy in the stomach from the G-forces
I think that Dan has the most experience out of all of us so hopefully he will chime in. Dewey, Jess, I think Ian and a few others have been out there a few times. They really cut back on the number of events in PDX last year apparently.
