Iam looking far a large compressor head.
I picked up a very large industrial 80 gal vertical tank, and now I need a head for it.
New ones are spendy, I have a lead on one but, it will not come up untill next month.
Anybody go one?
thanks

Mine is on my compressor.
IIRC, Dan found a smoking deal on a 70gal compressor on Craigslist or Ebay. Those are likely to be your best bets. |

Was Ebay. 80 gal, 2 stage, 5 horse, mag starter for $276.66. Had to go get it in hood river, but was well worth it. I have an old compressor that I'd converted to 3 phase power when I owned my shop, and now after my move I don't have the industrial power available to me, and a new single phase motor for the compressor was $75 more than the two stage unit I found on Ebay. A virtual "no brainer" on this one. 175 psi, 15.3 CFM, 80 gal for less $$$ for a new motor for my old single stage 120 psi unit.
If you have time, do check out Ebay. And sign up for aution sniper also. They will bid for you at the last second. www.auctionsniper.com
