				| I couldn't figure out how to post these pics and he said he would post them for me.

I would like some input on the window post, I think it needs to be replaced on a frame rack
The other stuff I could do. Maybe.
And also what do you think it would cost to have it welded in place?

Check it out when he posts them up.
 thanks
 Scott

				| It happened about 2 months ago, It was a bit icy, he hit the gas a little to hard, would up in the ditch about a 4 foot drop and ran along a bunch of fir trees.

No one got hurt, just his pride.

 looking for another shell now,
Its a fast car but he wrecked it about 30 days after it was road worthy.
Still drivable, but is really nasty on the passengers side, pretty much all the way down the car.

I think he would have turned it on its side if the trees weren't there.

I still like the car, If I had it my way Id fix it but, he can't wait that long Iam afraid, If it was mine id park it and fix it over the next year.

I was just wonder what you all think about it, once you see the pics.

 where is insane??????

				| That looks pretty bad. Front fender support looks pushed back. | |

				| Oddly enough John, Bart and myself saw a white firebird smash into the back of a van or suv or something. Hit HARD. The entire front end was trashed back to the doors. Never seen one quite that mangled from a hit like that.
As a side note, the rest of our cars just went up in value

				| It's hard to tell due to the fact that the front fender and door are still on the car, but is the A-pillar pushed back at all? That would be a lot harder to fix. | |

				| I think biggest deciding factors would be how bad the rear quarter is up near the crease and hatch and how far the fender support/core support are mangled.
It'd probably be easier to find another car than to fix this one.

I agree. Though I'm biased (Good with mechanical aspects, suck/hate/despise body work)

				| well at least the engine looks ok. never did finish all the detail work under the hood
 Been looking at cars,
looked at two this last week.
holding out for an Iroc, or z28 with t-tops doesn't matter on tranny.
 no go yet.

Thanks for offering to help me.

				| Not to belittle the damage, but somehow I expeceted that A piller on the Pass side to have a giant fold in it from scott's description. Its really too bad about the car though, probably repairable, but not worth the time/money/effort, when you can swap the powertrain over to a straight-bodied rolling Z or RS chassis. Good luck to you and your son Scott. Glad nobody was hurt. _________________
