Bought a generator and the tank is leaking, a small crack was found underneath.

What would be a good gas resistant adhesive to use on this?

I heard JB Stik would work but I cant find it anyplace.

They also sell a thick putty type material for sale at autoparts stores that you press on the crack that is supposed to stop leaking. I'm not sure how well it works, haven't tried it.
