I got a pin hole leak on my tranny cooling line. Whats a quick fix? In the past i have cut a section out and placed a union there and it works. i also thought about welding the hole to plug it up. But I'll be damned if i have to take the whole ungreatful line out and place a new one its a big pain to line up the threads on those things.

I'd probably put a tack weld on it. You'll probably catch the fluid on fire though. How do you get a pin hole leak? Maybe find a used set? Or find a way to get a piece of fuel line over it, and clamp it on either end.

Cut and compression fitting is probably the best way. Or double flare if you have the tools. A guy could put a section of hose in.. but do not use fuel line. Use transmission cooler line. Fuel line will swell up and get soft.

The big long loop for the return line was squished when I got the car... and never noticed it. Looks like someone jack squished it. So I pipe cut the squish and used fuel line to hook it together.

Napa sell tranny rubbers?

The car i'm workin on used to owned by johnny but its slowly returning back to what it was replaced the tranny, replaced the hump, and center console with the 700r4. replaced the maf sensor, h2o sensor, throttle position sensor, egr, recalibraded the fuel pressure regulater, replaced the front bumper, bought a used computer out of 87 gta 5.7l and used a burnt chip so it could run better, found alot of loose nuts and bolts and retorqued them. replaced some vaccum lines, and there are sill some wiring issues when i removed the neon lighting. but its getting there. I always wanted a iroc-z so this is my way of getting intimate with my car is to fix her. Just need interior and a paint job any one cheap other than "maaco".
