I went today. Saw a burgundy Iroc and an older 3rd gen that was pretty beat. Most of the cars were imports and not too many were very nice. Lots of cars though so I guess it really helped a good cause and the weather was great. I was surprised at the lack of American muscle represented. |

Was the older thirdgen my car? It's a black '84 Z28, it has tons of money in suspension, an LS1/T56 swap, and it's totally a daily driver. The paint is a little beat up now but it has 8 years and 150k+ miles on that paintjob. Thanks to a gravel road this morning, it was super dirty at the show but it still shines up decent when I have time on my hands. Pic from earlier this summer:

My bad. Didn't take too close of a look. Definitely looks a lot better clean!! My car was dirty too from the drive there. And I got stuffed in the back gravel lot. I'm sure your car would have spanked most of the rides there. Obviously massive negative camber makes cars faster??? |

Yeah, that meet draws a much younger and more import focused crowd. I dont like the hellaflush stanced cars myself but you have to admit there were some other pretty interesting cars there! Your car must have been the white 91-92 Z28 out in the back lot? It looks super nice, I'm a sucker for completely original low mile cars even though mine has 300k plus on the shell and nothing original left. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Yes that was mine. I did the suspension on it already. Waiting for my 18" Boze Pro Touring wheels to arrive. I'm going to track the car at The Ridge next summer and do some car shows/gatherings. |
