well this is yet another non third gen relate question but u guys are by far the best forum to ask questions to. so on my 93 chevy g20 van the brakes gave me a scare today and one time before. pretty much they work great but if some jack ass break checks me and i have to slam the brakes on real hard they stop me but after that they dont have shizzle for pressure and the pedal will go to the floor if u press it more the halfway in and hardly will stop u but after a little while they come back to normal and work fine again. and i check all the lines and resivor there arnt any leaks at all and the fluid level is good. if the engine is off if i pump the pedal it builds good pressure but with it running it just goes to the floor i just dont know much about brakes. so would it be the master cylinder or dose the fluid just need to be changed and bleed? so if u guys could let me know what u think that would be greatly appreciated. cause i no want to die lol _________________

Master cylinder leaking internally is the most likely culprit.
If air was being introduced somewhere there would be a leak and a loss of fluid. |
