Castle Rock is a good mid point to fill up.

Same pit-stop as last year should be good unless the T/A decides to crap out early! Laughing

well I'm trying, but the bird is throwing a fit right now. Running super lean, not really drivable, not really dynoable. Will probably randomly start running perfect next week...

There seems to be some of that going around.. bird flu?? Laughing

Dyno Curse. Its real.

I think the curse has more to do with cars that are rarely driven making the long trip to Portland than anything else. Wink

ahaha I'm not bringing the '68. I would if I had got a 4bbl and an HEI already like I wanted to but its not exactly a smooth runner. What I am bringing will dyno and cruise pretty well. Lol

Derek, You can borrow my HEI if it means you dynoing something. I'll PM you my number. Dunno if you have to work today or what, but I'll PM you my number. If you are working today, we can spend some time wrenching @ tony's (as he's just a stone's throw away from you). Or since I'm gonna come hang out there, I can stop by your place and we can see what we can figure out.

I do have a couple of 4150 holley carbs, but as they don't have a vacuum secondary, and you have a TH400, don't think that can help much in that department.

It may have already been mentions and I'm probably not seeing it, but what time are we supposed to be arriving at the Dyno on Saturday? I know every year there's a few people who just meet there rather than before hand.

Yes, have fun everyone. I can't go this year, the boss saddled me with work this weekend. Sad
I'm starting to go back to Eureka, CA again after a 6 month hiatus. I didn't want to turn it down and demonstrate to him that I don't want it.
This Wednesday would have worked better for me lol.
Anyway have fun. I will make Cows, and if I find a new steering wheel, we might have to see how high an airbag will blow Very Happy

You all are hoping for good weather, I'm here praying for rain so I can get off early. Otherwise I'll be meeting you guys around 10pm. By then I suppose you all will be at Dewey's place?

Thanks Dew for opening your place up and giving us beer. Smile Skyler, thanks for planning the cruise. I don't know if I've ever seen more people get separated before. Laughing Oh and I hate red lights. But I had mucho fun!

I'm with stupid

It was a fun day. I was satisfied with the numbers I made - more tuning needed, but good numbers.

248 hp @ 4400 rpm
348 lb/ft @ 3200 rpm

Big ups to everyone involved! Skyler planned an awesome cruise, it was nice to cruise this side of the river for a change. Not that i have anything against the vista run, the gorge is beautiful!
