if they are too tight, and you are not getting compression, yes that would be a big issue.

what do you mean tightened the lifters? Did you properly set lash, or did you just tighten them?

I have fuel and I have spark and I don't think my MAF is the problem.

Not an air restriction, a lack of compression. People always think spark and fuel, they forget that you also need proper ignition timing, proper valve timing, and compression.

Regardless, if the car was running fine and then you did a thing and now it's not running at all maybe you should go back and check that it was done right!!

Just saying. Smile

So I got to drive my car the other day and while driving it cut out on me 4 times. I replaced the coil and the ICM and it ran great but I think the fuel keeps cutting out. I don't know if its my fuel pump, relay, or if there is a fuel pump cutoff switch?

Replaced the fuel pump relay and I think that solved my fuel problem but I'm not sure why it is back firing now. I am a young guy and love my camaro but its starting to frustrate me since I can't get it to run. I really appreciate everyones help and advice but I am really lost and don't know what else to do.........
