Hey everyone! Greetings from Bremerton.
So my Camaro is doing a "surging" like thing with its idle and electrical. It only does this during idle regardless of cold or warm engine. The dash lights pulse with the idle as well as the oil pressure gauge.
My engine is a v8 carbureted. I did the wiring harness from "painless" (not so painless) With, of course, loads and loads of help from Al Hasse. [Thank you for everything!]
Also, I'm not sure if this is related... But my turning lights do not keep beat, they jump and skip. I've checked around the car, if the front does it so follows the back so its not a shorted bulb. When the hazards are on, there is no skipping.
Thoughts? [other random info] New Carburetor is going on tomorrow. |

Not extensively with spray stuff to look for bubbles, one thing I just thought of but haven't checked - which would be a doh move - Is the vacuum advance hose that goes from the distributor to the carburetor. If, for some reason, I have it on manifold vacuum instead of ported [timed] vacuum would that cause such a problem? |
